Panorama Software Expands Worldwide Presence; Welcomes New Global Partners to Serve Thriving BI Industry

Magix, Rinpak Technology and Suprawin Technologies Help Businesses Leverage Historical and Current Data Using Panorama's Business Intelligence Solutions

TORONTO (7/21/04) – As information technology channel players pronounce confidence in global sales forecasts, Panorama Software, a recognized innovator of business intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced expansion of its international distribution channel with the addition of Asia-Pacific and Africa-based members to its Global Partners Program.

An increasing demand for business intelligence solutions has fueled growth of Panorama's worldwide channel network, and the company added 25 new global partners in 2003 and already half that amount in the first six months of 2004. According to International Data Corporation, the business intelligence software market in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) will grow by 12 percent this year, up from 7.5 percent in 2003. Panorama's newfound relationships with experienced, vertical market systems integrators has resulted in increased deployments of Panorama's BI solutions across financial services, manufacturing, telecommunication, retail and healthcare industries. Rinpak Technology based in China; Suprawin Technologies in India; and Magix, located in South Africa, will distribute and integrate Panorama's business intelligence solutions.

Panorama's worldwide customers, which include L'Oreal, Philips Consumer Electronics, and Altera Corporation, operate on a foundation of solid technology, combined with Panorama's knowledgeable, supportive and respected systems integrators or reseller partners. Panorama's technology partners, consultants, value-added resellers (VARs), systems integrators and ISVs play an integral role in the deployment of Panorama's globally-accepted business intelligence platform, which provides key differentiators including proactive ‘bubble up' exceptions; interactive dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs); intuitive, wizard-driven reporting interface; and secure scalability in and outside of a corporate firewall.

"Panorama is experiencing increased interest in business intelligence solution across the globe, as many businesses are now identifying the critical need to mine, analyze and leverage historical data that is often hidden within their existing backend systems," said Eynav Azarya, CEO of Panorama Software.

Panorama's suite of business intelligence solutions extends the power of Microsoft's BI platform allowing companies to leverage existing IT investments and information to improve business results. Informed business decisions can be made to improve profitability, increase revenues, reduce costs and time to market and mitigate competitive risks. The company's flagship BI solution, Panorama 4.0, extends the value and reach of business intelligence to all users— making BI a part of everyday operations.
