Panorama Software takes Business Intelligence to the next level with Proactive BI

Panorama is moving from concept to execution of its Proactive Business Intelligence (PBI) vision. 

After evaluating trends and challenges of Information Workers, Panorama came up with several key findings:

• BI has evolved primarily in the back end, but not much has progressed for end users.  Information workers are still angling for tools that will allow them to focus on what’s relevant from the reams of data they are viewing on a daily basis.

Panorama NovaView Spotlight Announcement

In the next few months Panorama will be releasing new capabilities within our NovaView suite as part of Proactive BI. NovaView Spotlight is the first product being shipped as part of Panorama’s PBI initiative, designed to ensure that information workers can focus on the relevant.  Panorama NovaView Spotlight brings key metrics and KPIs directly to where users can track them in the easiest and most intuitive way – Microsoft Outlook and all Microsoft Office applications.

With the ability to drag and drop key metrics into a dedicated “Personal Dashboard,” users can view live metrics in Outlook or other Office applications.  NovaView Spotlight will be available by the end of the summer and is available for Beta testing now.

Panorama Scorecards cited as industry leading solution by QualitTest Group

QualiTest Group, one of the largest independent providers of software testing and quality assurance services, recently evaluated Panorama NovaView Scorecards and Dashboards.  The results position Panorama Scorecards as an industry leading solution.

Some key results of the test include:

• 480 users concurrently creating and updating key performance indicators (KPIs) took 0.9 seconds
• 950 users concurrently navigating, slicing and interacting with scorecards took 1.1 seconds
• 2,000 users logging in and opening a dashboard with the scorecard view took 4 seconds
