Panorama Software and Catalytics Group Enable Apotex to Get a Clearer View of their Business

Apotex is one the largest Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturers.  With revenues greater than $1B USD and 6,500 employees, understanding operational results about the business are paramount to maintaining profitability and competitive advantage.  Apotex selected Panorama NovaView as their front-end BI solution for SAP BW.  Implemented by Catalytics Group, Apotex is using Panorama NovaView as part of their annual planning process. Budgets are prepared, reviewed, and loaded into SAP R/3. Prior to final submission and review at the executive level, departments are able to review their planned revenue and expenditures against historical results, and they are now also able to “slice” them against each product. Future initiatives will allow for review of certain data by customer, thereby allowing the Apotex to not only forecast and plan future product sales, but also anticipate which customers will buy which products.

2nd Generation of Panorama’s Virtual Appliance Now Available

Panorama Software has just released the latest version of its popular Virtual Appliance.  The Panorama NovaView Virtual Appliance is a pre-configured, pre-installed and ready to run virtual machine which contains the entire NovaView suite of BI applications.  Panorama was the first BI company to release a virtual BI appliance earlier this year in May at the 2007 Microsoft Business Intelligence conference.  Since its debut, more than 10,000 copies have been distributed to companies that are looking for an all-in-one BI solution for the Microsoft and SAP BI platforms.

SAP World Tour 2007

Panorama Software along with its partner Poslovna Inteligencija participated at this year’s SAP World Tour in Croatia.  More than 800 attendees turned out to learn about Panorama’s solutions for SAP NetWeaver BI.  Miljenko Jakopovic, Sales Director of SAP Croatia had this to say about Panorama’s partnership with SAP, “Delivering valuable solutions that help drive the success of the business is always an area of focus and attention at SAP. Customer Success Updates: October Planned Fix

Panorama’s Customer Success announces the general availability of our latest bi-monthly product update, the October Plan Fix.  In addition to quality, this month’s update includes new features such as member property manipulations in Smart Report for Microsoft Analysis Services users and improved deployment mechanisms of .NET components for J# client and NovaView Visuals users.  For more details, please refer to the release notes which are included with the update.  To ensure that your version of NovaView is current and up-to-date, we strongly recommend that you install and upgrade using this Plan Fix now available for download from the Panorama Support Team.
